Catch-it Kebabs are playing at The Courthouse in Barnsley on Fri 4th Dec. It's Free entry, and lots of cheap drinks!!!

It's our last gig of the year, so we hope it's going to be a great night....


In other news, the album is coming along great. I can't wait for you all to hear the new tunes. Demos should be up soon!

Happy times!

I've just got back from practice and all is very good in the Kebab camp (That is apart from Graeme who is poorly with flu, Chloe who's got stitches in her mouth and Mel with her broken car). 5 out of 8 ain't bad :)

So, we've just finished writing another new tune, and it looks like the album is going to be much more melodious than our last CDs. We're all really excited, and because we're having so much fun writing we've decided to stop playing gigs for a while. We hope to have some demos done pretty soon though, woop!

This is the tracklist so far:

Sirens - Fast paced 2-tone about harpies
Push it up - Feelgood Island style ska about not letting the weight of the world pull you down
Money - Proper reggae grooves, all about that love/hate relationship with cash
Weekend in the city - Our latest tune, northern soul mixed with bouncy trad ska. This one is about escapism.

New Tracks

So we have a mini studio now, so we hope to have some new tracks coming soon, expect trad ska, reggae, swing, dnb, punk rock and much much more!!!

Playing Sheffield

We're playing at The Redhoue in Sheffield this Fri (21/08/09).

It's cheap on the door and a great mix of swing, ska, gypsy and reggae.

To coin a phrase 'I cannee wait'!
